Meet Our Dedicated Growers
Crafting Excellence in Small Batches
We take immense pride in introducing you to Josh and Matt, the dedicated legacy growers at Canna Pure Relief, who are more than cultivators; they're nurturing stewards, caring for each plant with the devotion one would give their own children. Nestled in the heart of the Appalachian region of Ohio, our journey begins in a place where craft cannabis is meticulously cultivated by individuals deeply connected to the land. Our growers, at Canna Pure Relief, take immense pride in crafting some of the most delectable cannabinoids found in the entire Midwest.
Seeds of Vision and Purity
Our process commences with seeds sourced from one of the nation's most visionary companies, Oregon CBD. These seeds are lovingly germinated using underground spring water, sourced from a historical landmark in Buchtel, Ohio, just miles away from our craft cultivation facility located in Nelsonville, Ohio. When these seeds sprout, their tender roots encounter a living soil, enriched with a diverse blend of natural ingredients.
Championing the Soil Food Web
Our soil boasts a harmonious blend of "food-sourced" compost from Tilth, Cleveland, Ohio, alongside ingredients like rice hulls, crustacean meal, kelp, gypsum, basalt, oyster shell flour, carbonatite, and neem seed. However impressive these ingredients may be, they pale in comparison to the rich biodiversity thriving in the soil and root zones of our cannabis plants. Beneficial bacteria, fungi, nematodes, protozoa, and earthworms create a vibrant ecosystem that sustains our plants.
Canna Pure Relief's pride lies in their commitment to the "soil food web." This conscious decision significantly reduces our overall environmental footprint by eliminating the need for bottled nutrients, a common industry practice. These bottled nutrients, consisting primarily of water, are heavy and wasteful to transport across continents and seas. Our cultivators rely on a blend of knowledge, education, and soil testing to master the art of providing nutrition to our cherished plants while minimizing fossil fuel consumption.
Craftsmanship, Not Machinery
As our plants bask in the glow of HID & LED lighting for two months, they develop an aroma that can only be described as transcendent. Come harvest day, we employ no machinery–just a simple pair of Friskers scissors. Yes, you read that right – EVERY single step is meticulously handcrafted. Small-batch, hand-harvested, and hand-trimmed, this approach allows us to deliver pristine flowers with intact trichomes.
A Sustainable Path Forward
Our dedication to the craft and a sustainable future extends to the extraction methods used to create the concentrates for Appalachian Girls products. Unlike industry standards that employ hydrocarbons like propane and butane as solvents, our hashes, concentrates, and edibles are produced using solventless methods, relying on mechanical separation. This choice ensures a cleaner product, free from impurities and harmful environmental impacts, aligning perfectly with our commitment to a more sustainable future.
At Canna Pure Relief, we're not just cultivating cannabis; we're nurturing a vision of responsible, sustainable, and high-quality craftsmanship in the heart of Appalachia.
